I designed this set of alphabetic ink drawings to celebrate the beauty of the natural world. I rendered the illustration using a traditional quill and ink technique which gives these artworks a vintage and traditional feel. Each Letter and symbol was drawn to accurately depict the botanical anatomy of a specific species of tree. I tried to choose trees that matched each letter and each tree (excluding olive) is native to North America.
